Go-Ahead train operator delays audit sign-off

FTSE listed Go-Ahead Group plans to delay the release of its annual results for year end 2021 due to delays to the audit sign-off as a result of issues over grants to London & South Eastern Railway subsidiary

The annual results for year end 3 July 2021 were due to be published on 16 December but these will be delayed until January.

The Group is working closely with auditor Deloitte to ensure that the FY21 results are published as soon as possible. This is now expected to be before the end of January 2022, Go-Ahead group said in a statement to London Stock Exchange.

Whilst the audit is ongoing, the board's current expectations are that adjusted operating profit for the rail division will now be ahead of previous expectations, in part reflecting the treatment of certain non-recurring items in rail.
