Haines Watts merges London arm with Cooper Parry

Private equity backed accountancy firm Cooper Parry has merged with the southeast and Midlands offices of Haines Watts, consolidating revenue at £125m

The deal sees Cooper Parry take over the business of 11 offices across London, the south, Birmingham and the Midlands, bringing its workforce to 1,150 and increasing fee income to £125m from the current £44m reported for the last financial year end March 2022.

Around 600 staff including 54 partners from Haines Watts London will join Cooper Parry. The plan is to retain all 11 offices with ‘no plans for closures or relocations’.

Haines Watts has 54 offices across the UK with 11 going to Cooper Parry as part of the deal, leaving the regional firm with 43 offices but nothing in the capital.
