How charities can strengthen fraud procedures

With the cost of living crisis impacting individuals and charities, there’s arguably never been a more critical time for organisations to rethink their risks and how they may be susceptible to fraud.

This year’s Charity Fraud Awareness Week came at a time of economic crisis and, in times of austerity fraud typically rises. Additionally, many organisations are still re-shaping and rebuilding following the global pandemic, often changing their ways of working, which can make them more vulnerable.
