Huw Beverley-Smith is a partner in the technology transactions group at Faegre Baker Daniels.

He is an intellectual property lawyer and a qualified solicitor in England and Wales. He has significant experience advising customers and suppliers on a wide range of transactions, including technology, telecommunications and business process outsourcing; complex services agreements; intellectual property ownership; and licensing. He also advises on international regulatory issues, particularly privacy and cybersecurity.

He has advised senior management teams on strategic contracting and risk issues on international transactions throughout EMEA, the US and Asia. He frequently works with multidisciplinary teams of finance, sales, HR, procurement, privacy, security and tax professionals, and has spent periods working on in-house secondment to a number of clients, including a leading telecoms provider, a Tier 1 outsourcing and consultancy services provider, and a global entertainment company.
