If you ask companies whether human rights concerns are at the top of their board agenda, you might receive a blank look. However, if you replace this topic, with say, health and safety or workplace discrimination or sexual harassment, you are likely to receive a different response. Yet, all these issues come under the umbrella of corporate respect for human rights and boards are now having to tell stakeholders how their businesses are approaching this area.
