The full integration of Twinfield online accounting with CCH Accounts Production software produced in the UK has been announced. Twinfield was acquired by Wolters Kluwer in 2011.
The result, CCH Twinfield, creates a UK accounting service that combines online and in-house accounting systems with powerful business planning and benchmarking tools. This provides a single, integrated platform for accountants and their clients to share information and work together.
Simon Crompton, managing director of CCH Software, said: 'The integration between cloud-based bookkeeping software and desktop-based accounts production systems fundamentally transforms every aspect of the accountant/client working relationship. It drives out paper, streamlines processes and minimises direct client queries, creating a far more efficient and cost effective accounts production process.
'True business advantage can be achieved by adopting an end-to-end accounting service. The result is a more efficient operation that frees up staff time to work more collaboratively with clients. With a totally integrated system, information is available to a practice as soon as it has been entered by clients into the online system. This enables accountants and clients to work together on the accounts, improving the speed of decision-making. It is this proactive, collaborative approach that will be key to retaining client business in an increasingly competitive marketplace.'
