In November 2016 the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) published a feedback statement on its work plan for 2017-21. Hans Hoogervorst, IASB chairman, noted that ‘in the last two years, we have completed three major projects on financial instruments, revenue and leases.

Stakeholders strongly supported our plans to complete our remaining work on insurance contracts and the Conceptual Framework’.
