Standard setters from across the globe came together in London in September to discuss co-operation, focusing on the benefits of exchanging experiences and ‘lessons learnt’. This is now a necessity, given that most regulatory organisations are working on an international scale and so all standard setters justifiably want to avoid arbitrage between different jurisdictions. But co-operation aside, it is worth taking time to look back at some other notable developments.
