Impairment of Financial Assets Carried at Amortised Cost

The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) has issued exposure draft ED/2009/12, Financial Instruments: Amortised Cost and Impairment, which proposes how credit loss expectations should be included in the amortised cost measurement of financial assets. The proposed requirements will form a further chapter of IFRS 9, Financial Instruments.
