Top 20 firm MHA has reported record results with revenue up by nearly a third to £180m, driven by double digit growth in audit and tax, and strategic acquisitions
Revenues reported for the year end 31 March 2024 were £180m, an increase of 27% on £142m in 2023 with nearly all of MHA’s UK offices experiencing significant double-digit growth in the year.
Pre-tax profit was £50.0m, down slightly from £52.2m on the previous year. Reflecting the speed of growth at the firm, revenue has doubled in the last four years from £90m in 2020.
All of MHA’s service lines showed growth with audit and tax being the most significant. Audit and assurance was up 49% from last year and tax up by 20%, with the firm pointing to the benefits of being part of the Baker Tilly International network. It also resolved some long running audit investigations by the Financial Reporting Council over historic cases.
