Moore Kingston Smith expands into Northern Ireland

In the fourth acquisition this year, private equity backed Moore Kingston Smith LLP has taken over Moore Northern Ireland

The Northern Ireland firm has offices in Belfast, Coleraine and Derry~Londonderry, with seven partners and 100 staff providing accountancy and advisory services to individuals, entrepreneurs, large organisations and complex international businesses.

The move follows Moore Kingston Smith’s acquisition of Moore Ireland in July 2023.

Recognising the business links between the financial centres of London, Belfast and Dublin, and with growing cross-border trade, Moore Kingston Smith, Moore Ireland and Moore Northern Ireland will ‘form a tripartite to best serve clients operating across that geographical triangle’, the firm said.

The value of the deal was not disclosed. Moore Northern Ireland has estimated revenue in excess of £5m and has been rebranded under the Moore UK identity.
