Prudential UK & Europe has appointed its first female chief executive in its 165-year history. Chartered accountant Jackie Hunt is to move from Standard Life, where she was finance director since 2009. Qualifying in Johannesburg, Hunt began her career at Deloitte, before time at PwC in New Zealand. She has held senior roles at Royal & Sun Alliance as well as Aviva.
Brian Dunlop has joined Ashurst as chief financial officer. Dunlop moves to the law firm from Allen & Overy where he held the CFO role since 2002. He was previously group finance controller at Marconi but gained his chartership at Deloitte.
Wood Group has lined up David Kemp to be its new CFO. Kemp joins from Trapoli - a company he jointly founded in 2008 - where he was financial director. He began his career at PwC, with roles at Amerada Hess and Simmonds Co International, before becoming CFO North Sea and Canada at Technip S.A
The Isle of Man government has promoted Malcolm Couch and Nicola Guffogg. Couch will become CFO after being assessor of income tax since 2004 and has held roles at Shell, Ernst & Young and HMRC. Guffogg will fill the shoes that Couch has left, having been deputy assessor of income tax for the past six years.
