Felix Milton, 43, of Shepherd’s Bush, London, falsified bank statements, and fabricated invoices to HMRC, and has been disqualified from acting as a director for the maximum term of 15 years. 

In May 2021, Milton’s company, The Nameless Ltd, secured a VAT refund of £179,444 covering February 2020 to January 2021, supported by fake bank statements and purchase invoices.

Milton was the sole director of The Nameless Ltd, a sound recording and music business set up in 2018, attempted to secure a further £4.3m in VAT refunds from HMRC, again using fake invoices but this time the claim was rejected when HMRC realised that the documents had been concocted. 

HMRC contacted the suppliers named on the invoices to verify their existence, and they confirmed the invoices were not genuine and that they had conducted little or no actual business with The Nameless Ltd.
