The latest insolvency figures show a large spike in companies going into administration and liquidating, up from 1,207 in June 2021 as the impact of the pandemic filters through to businesses. The figure also represents a 15% increase on pre-pandemic figures for June 2019. However, the figures are better than May 2022 where 1,822 went into insolvency.
