The most important thing about payroll software is that it works: meeting statutory requirements, simplifying and automating what has become an increasingly complex area, and making sure that exactly the right amount of money goes into exactly the right bank account on exactly the right date – and by and large it does this. But in the current economic climate, businesses are looking for more from their payroll systems.
