Alan Doherty has been appointed CFO of utilities provider Siteserv. Doherty was previously managing director at AIB corporate finance, a company he joined in 1992, being made director four years later and MD in 2005. He qualified as a chartered accountant while at Arthur Andersen.
Saffery Champness has brought Ben Melling to the firm as tax partner. Most recently a partner at Rawlinson & Hunter for eight years, Melling was at Grant Thornton for 18 years before that where he also made partner.
Morrisons outgoing group finance director Richard Pennycook is to join online retailer The Hut Group. Pennycock announced in June his intention to leave for new pastures next year and will take on a non-executive director position at the Cheshire-based company.
Indra Morris has been named as Edward Troup's replacement at the Treasury. Morris takes up the director general, tax and welfare role in early November, having been a career civil servant with an eight year stint at Accenture as strategy senior executive.
Bishop Fleming has taken on David Butler as the Bristol firm's director of audit. Butller has worked for both KPMG and Ernst & Young before moving to Crowe Clark Whitehil, where he has been a senior manager for the past six years.
