Departing WM Morrison's financial director Richard Pennycook is to take on a non-executive role at Thomas Cook. Pennycook joined the supermarket chain in 2005, after being group FD at RAC, HP Bulmer, Laura Ashley and JD Wetherspoon.

Kevin Cummings has joined BDO as tax partner. With 15 years of international tax advice experience, Cummings was a lawyer at Allen & Overy before joining Berwin Leighton Paisner in 2008 as partner in its tax team, where he remained until recently.

Littlejohn has announced the return of John Perry to the firm as partner in the insurance team. Perry left the firm in 2008, when he migrated to New Zealand and worked for KPMG's financial services team, but has since moved back to the UK and return to the firm he left.

Diane Deller has been promoted to senior tax manager at Larking Gowen. Deller joined the firm in 1998, based in the Norwich office.
