BDO has appointed Hira Sharma as national head of real estate, effective 4 July. He takes over from Geraint Jones who is stepping aside after two years in the role. Sharma is a tax partner based in the real estate and construction group in London. He advises a wide range of institutional real estate funds, REITs and sovereign wealth investors. BDO has one of the largest real estate teams in the UK, with over 300 people advising on UK and international assurance, tax and transactional matters.
