He has more than 30 years’ experience in the private client sector, working with sportspeople as well as clients in media and entertainment industry. He also advises entrepreneurs, family offices, non-UK domiciled individuals and professional practices. Fairchild is passionate about supporting young sports talent and improving financial literacy, and has collaborated with sports organisations to develop an education and life-skills programme for under 18 and under 21 footballers.

Evelyn Partners has hired financial adviser Gavin Tansey, founder and owner of Gavin Tansey Financial Services, in its Liverpool office. Tansey has run his Wirral-based financial planning business for over 12 years and has worked as an adviser since 2000. He will bring his clients as part of the deal and will provide a continuing professional service to his clients, enhanced by the resource of the broader group.
