Clive Owen LLP has appointed David Baggaley as a fifth tax partner at the rapidly growing firm. He joins the firm, which has offices in Darlington, Durham, Middlesbrough, and York, from EY where he was an associate partner leading the private tax team in the northeast and Yorkshire providing tax advice to both corporates and individuals. A chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser with many years’ experience in UK taxation, Baggaley spent time on secondment to EY’s offices in Bangalore, India and Edinburgh gaining valuable knowledge.

Beavis Morgan LLP has promoted experienced personal tax expert Neal Groves to client partner. He has a wealth of experience in private client tax, providing bespoke taxation advice. Together with his team of tax experts, Groves specialises in assisting high net worth clients and their families in achieving their aims and objectives, as well as being able to assist taxpayers with less complex affairs to ensure that their taxes are correctly planned and maintained. Pieter van Rooyen has been promoted to client partner, having joined the firm in 2018 from Acuity where he was a managing partner. He specialises in handling the affairs of owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals.
