Grant Thornton has appointed Jon Throup as a partner in the transaction advisory services team in the Midlands, based out of the Birmingham office. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the Midlands market, and joins the firm from Deloitte where he was transaction services director.
PM&M has announced 10 promotions with Sarah Farragher promoted to manager; Lisa Colbert to assistant manager and Bethan Greenbank to senior adviser in the accounting and advisory team. In the financial planning team, Sammy Whittle has been promoted to manager; and in payroll, Claire Yates has become a senior adviser. Josh Tuplin, Evie Halliwell and Alex Heath have all been named senior advisers in the audit team. Sharon Trebilcock has been promoted to money laundering reporting officer and Anya Fallon is now a senior adviser in the cloud accounting team.
