Financial experts, Old Mill has created a specialist in-house team covering the complexities surrounding stamp duty land tax (SDLT). Previously, this function was outsourced to a third-party, but Old Mill’s tax team will now handle all queries. Headed up by senior tax manager Laura Wylie and supported by tax specialists Mark Trevethan and Zoe Chandler, the SDLT team will be able to advise clients on available reliefs and calculate SDLT liabilities.

Business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP continues the growth of its tax practice with the appointment of Kirsty Rockall as head of transfer pricing. In her new role, she will set and lead the strategy for Grant Thornton’s national transfer pricing team across the UK. She joins the firm with over 20 years’ experience working in transfer pricing, both in the UK and internationally, advising a range of clients from start-ups through to FTSE 100 businesses. Previously she was transfer pricing partner at KPMG.
