Revenue was up at the UK arm of PwC after a restatement of previous year’s numbers meant PwC UK reported 2% growth year on year following the restructure of the wider business to incorporate the Middle East and Africa practice.
The UK performance showed signs of growth in FY26 due to a minor restatement of the previous year’s numbers which saw the year end revenue adjusted down to £4.27bn from originally reported £4.37bn to ‘reflect revised organisational structure and to ensure comparability between years’.
This was beneficial for the bottomline figure, pushing growth to 2% for the UK business. It was well up on last year’s sluggish 0.4% growth in FY25. However, revenues for the Middle East were down 15%, ‘reflecting the impact of the regional conflict, wider market disruption and currency movements’, PwC said.
