Buzzacott has promoted Alex Judd to partner, Anna-Louise Shipley to associate director and Greg Westcott to manager in the firm’s corporate finance team. Judd joined Buzzacott in 2014 and works with private equity firms, venture capital funds, and banks, performing due diligence on their target businesses. Shipley has eight years of experience in corporate finance and typically works with entrepreneurial businesses, assisting with growth and succession strategies. Westcott joined Buzzacott as a graduate and works with clients across a range of industries with a focus on technology firms.
Shaw Gibbs has appointed Anna Roberts as corporate tax partner, effective immediately. Roberts brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the firm, having previously worked for all of the Big Four firms. She has over 20 years of experience in corporate tax, having advised clients across various industries with a specific interest in healthcare. She will work closely with clients to develop and implement tax strategies that meet their business needs, and will also be responsible for managing and developing the Oxford corporate tax team.
