UK total fee income amounted to £125.74m for the UK, up from £81.67m in 2014-15.

The network reported tax, corporate finance, and consultancy as its strongest areas of growth, and said it had beaten its target of reaching £100m income, set in 2014.

The network has 134 partners across the seven member firms, each generating an average of £938,000 in fee income, up from £840,000 in the previous year albeit with a smaller number of partners at 117 across five firms.

All seven of PKF UKI main businesses showed significant growth - PKF Littlejohn, PKF Cooper Parry, KLSA, Johnston Carmichael, PKF-FPM and PKF Francis Clark in the UK and PKF O’Connor, Leddy & Holmes in Ireland.

Carmine Papa, chairman of PKF UKI said: ‘It’s been a great year for the PKF UKI network with accelerated growth and profitability a testament to the high quality work that we offer our clients.

‘We are becoming a real alternative to the Big Four while at the same time retaining the personal touch that our larger rivals have lost. Provided we can continue to deliver the quality services that our clients want, we will continue to grow, whatever future headwinds we may encounter.’

In the UK, PKF is ranked 18th in the latest Accountancy Top 25 network survey ranked by UK fee income.
