PwC partner pay flatlines at £865k

Tough trading and consulting squeeze result in minimal growth at PwC as Big Four firm reports UK revenue of £4.27bn leading to flat partner pay amid job cuts

PwC UK revenue was £4.27bn in FY25, up fractionally at only 0.3% from £4.25bn in FY24 when PwC recorded a solid 3% growth nationally. Traditional tax, audit and accounting services lines all recorded some growth, albeit slim, while consulting and risk were hit by contracting demand, with sales down 3% across both.

Average UK partner pay was £865,000 (£862,000 in FY24), split between the firm’s over 1,000 strong partnership.

But job cuts, cost cutting and operational restructuring at the business protected the bottom line with profits up from £1.14bn to £1.37bn, albeit only in single digit figures.

‘As part of our transformation, we took the tough decision to reduce roles in some areas, but maintained our commitment to pay and promotions, with overall spend on reward in line with last year,’ PwC said.
