My clients are a married couple who are moving to Dubai indefinitely in October this year. They plan to be there for at least five years. Together they own a UK company providing consultancy services to their customers which they will do remotely from Dubai. They take a small salary and significant dividends from the company and will rent out their UK home. What are the tax implications?
