RSM UK set to merge with RSM US in major transatlantic deal

In a major move, RSM UK is in advanced talks to merge with RSM US in a major transatlantic deal creating a £3.8bn unified business

The new structure would establish a major partner-owned organisation with enhanced reach and resources to service global clients, creating a ‘financially integrated transatlantic organisation’.

RSM UK and RSM US have confirmed they are in advanced discussions to merge, subject to definitive agreements and legal and regulatory approvals.

The transatlantic merger would establish a partner-owned multinational organisation spanning locations across the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, India and El Salvador, supported by 23,000 professionals, with combined annual revenues of $5bn (£3.82bn).

RSM US reported annual revenues of $4bn (£3.06bn) for FY2024, which included fee income from both the US and Canadian businesses with 1,185 partners and over 16,000 employees. In total, the north American arm of RSM has 79 offices in the US, six in Canada, one in El Salvador and four in India.
