Salisbury’s accountants acquires IG Jones

Independently owned Salisbury’s Chartered Accountants has acquired local practice IG Jones & Co in Llangefni, expanding presence in Wales

The new base strengthens the firm’s presence in Anglesey and provides a platform for supporting clients and communities across north west Wales.

Salisbury’s described the latest acquisition as an ‘exciting new chapter - opening offices, welcoming new recruits, and shaping the future of the profession’.

Six new staff have joined the business as part of the deal, taking the workforce to 47 and reflecting an ongoing period of significant expansion driven by the firm’s commitment to supporting the next generation of workers in the sector.

Among them are trainee accountants Elliott Coles and Maggie Hopwood in Llangefni, trainee accountants Charlie Austin and Celyn Hughes in St Asaph, management accountant Edward Lavery, and payroll trainee Tom Pape.
