The firm’s new 5,000 sq ft office is located in the Grade II-listed city centre innovation hub, situated in the Colmore Business District and has space for up to 40 people when it opens in June 2025.

The move strengthens Sedulo’s presence in Birmingham, where it first secured an office with the acquisition of R&D tax specialists, BTA Services, in March 2024.

The new Birmingham office represents a ‘key step in the firm’s national growth strategy’, Sedulo said, and supports the ‘commitment to developing and scaling its offer, including investing in increasingly sophisticated R&D processes’.

Sedulo is on track to double in size of the business over the next three years from its current annual revenue of £20.55m for year end 31 October 2024, and was ranked 58th in the Business & Accountancy Daily Top 75 Firms Survey 2025. The firm has 320 staff across the group’s five offices in Birmingham, Manchester, London, Liverpool and Leeds.

The brand new office will also help with recruitment, with Sedulo citing the ‘benefit from additional access to new talent, fast-growing businesses and innovators, and support its plans to revive professional networking in the city’. 

One of the more innovative and ambitious ideas is to create a leisure and events space to host networking events in the office designed to reflect the iconic Metro Bar, once housed in the same building.
