SFP has been appointed administrators for BRK Precision Engineering Limited, a Warwickshire engineering firm that suffered major cash flow problems brought about by over trading.
BRK Precision, which has now ceased trading, specialised in the manufacturing of parts for the automotive aftermarket. From the firm's base in Coventry, it turned over approximately £600,000.
Established in 1989, it produced a range of parts, from power train (engine, gearbox, suspension) to body components and assembly parts, and formed long working relationships with a number of leading companies throughout the automotive industry.
SFP's Daniel and Simon Plant were appointed joint administrators of BRK Precision Engineering Limited on 5 October 2012.
Despite working with a number of significant customers, BRK Precision Engineering Limited was unable to continue trading after experiencing cash-flow issues.
Daniel Plant, group partner at SFP, said: 'We are currently in discussions with various interested parties for a sale of the business and assets.'
