Single account for business taxes would reduce complexity

Businesses support the rollout of a single financial account containing all tax information to avoid the current complexity of using multiple portals to pay tax liabilities

The latest research into HMRC’s plans to roll out a single financial account for businesses found that the implementation could reduce the complexity currently faced in navigating multiple portals, according to businesses canvassed for their views on the plans.

They also said that the creation of single accounts for businesses to handle all their tax transactions would give them more control over their tax management.
