The Covid-19 crisis put payroll organisations through a severe stress test. Organisations with strong business continuity plans and a high level of automation were able to react fast and efficiently, while others struggled.

Similarly, payroll organisations with a comprehensive global strategy were able to operate effectively, reduce risk and contain costs while others have seen key weaknesses exposed. If not addressed, these shortcomings could hinder efforts to fully restore operations and adapt to the new demands of the post-pandemic environment.
