The Business Strategy exam is about
applying theory to practice, says Chris Leigh
Business Strategy is a very different exam to its Professional
Stage counterparts. There is very little numerical analysis, with
the exam focusing largely on the application of the theory to scenarios
provided in the questions. Students have historically struggled on
this paper, largely due to the different techniques required in answering
a BS question compared to a more numbers-based paper.
The BS exam becomes much easier if you get into the habit of
adopting good exam technique early in your studies. These rules will
help you focus when attempting questions and ensure that you don’t
run out of time.
