The number of students under contract towards a qualification
with the Top 60 UK accountancy firms continues to rise steadily in
spite of difficult economic conditions, according to our latest survey.
The number of students studying for qualifications under the ICAEW,
ICAS, CIMA, the ACCA or CIPFA rose by 10% this year to 12,678, compared
with a 12% rise in last year’s survey and 13% the year before.
