What taxes could Labour raise?

James Kipping, head of private tax at MHA, warns accountants to expect possible tax rises to capital gains tax, changes to pension tax relief and inheritance tax, with wealthy non-doms in sight

There was little discussion of tax reform in the Labour party manifesto. The only item which might be regarded as reform was stability in the rate of corporation tax, when arguably what is needed is a reduction to boost confidence and investment in the UK.
