Workplace fears and the effect on accounting professionals

Fears in the workplace are affecting half of accounting professionals as well as stalling job progression. Lee Biggins, founder and managing partner of CV-Library, explains what is holding accounting professionals back and how employers can help them to overcome these fears

According to recent research from CV-Library, over half (57.1%) of accounting professionals have ‘fears’ in the workplace, with a worrying 33.3% believing that their fears have had a negative impact on their career progression. In fact, some workers admitted that they have turned down roles, left their jobs and even suffered with anxiety as a result of their worries.
