AAB Group appoints Emma Lancaster as chief executive

Emma Lancaster has been named as chief executive of AAB Group replacing Graeme Allan as the accountancy and advisory firm plans more acquisitions 

Lancaster will take up the role from 1 December and will replace Graeme Allan who has been at AAB for more than 16 years. She will be based in the London office and will have an active presence across all AAB Group locations. She is a qualified accountant and was most recently non-executive director and CEO of education provider Study Group, backed by private equity firm Ardian Holdings. She has more than 15 years board level experience in CEO and CFO roles in private equity backed, international, people-based businesses in the business services and education sectors. Lancaster originally trained at Arthur Andersen and spent nine years at the firm.
