Tired of the usual nine to five job, or rather 50-hour weeks? Why not think about volunteering your accounting skills and expertise on a project for Accounting for International Development (AfID)
AfID offers accountants from around the world the opportunity to use their skills to support a broad range of non-profit organisations globally.
Volunteer assignments of between two weeks and 12 months, or longer permanent placements, form part of an ongoing strategy to build the financial management and reporting capacity of charities in over 35 countries.
The charity is currently looking for accountants at all levels for a range of roles, many running for a month to 12 weeks, with some opportunities for year-long placements.
