Aldershot Town FC out of administration

Quantuma Restructuring, the administrators of Aldershot Town football club, have announced the sale of the club to a consortium led by its chairman Shahid Azeem.

Relegated at the end of 2012/2013 season in May, Aldershot Town FC subsequently moved out of the Football League and was placed into administration with debts of around £1m.

Carl Jackson, joint administer and partner at Quantuma Restructuring, said: 'Since taking charge of the club in May this year, our central focus has always been to find a buyer for this great football team, and we are pleased that the consortium has been successful in taking over the running of Aldershot Town FC.'
