Azets acquires BDO medical services team and clients

Private equity backed Azets acquires entire BDO Medical Services team, staff and and clients in significant expansion of specialist healthcare practice

The full team of 16 specialist healthcare professionals will join Azets as part of the deal as well as the client portfolio of the BDO medical services practice 

Central to the move is the current head of the team, BDO partner Sarah Lock, and directors Juliette Maguire and Louise Barter, who will all remain with the business.

The transferring team will become part of Azet’s current healthcare practice, and will be based in Birmingham and Ipswich. The move will further strengthen the firm’s presence in the East of England and specialist accounting and advisory services offering to the healthcare sector adding further scale and specialist expertise to these regions.
