Baker Tilly cuts 234 from Sealine payroll

Baker Tilly has made 234 redundancies at a luxury boat manufacturer that has gone into administration.

Graham Bushby and Guy Mander of Baker Tilly have been appointed joint administrators to Sealine International, which began trading in 1972, employed around 300 people at its base in Kidderminster and operates through a global network of 40 luxury yacht dealerships.

Graham Bushby, restructuring and recovery partner at Baker Tilly, said: 'Sealine has been an important employer in the area over a number of years. We will be working to maximise recoveries for the company's creditors, which includes the sale of plant and recovery of monies owed to the business.'

Any parties interested in purchasing the assets of the business should contact Chris Cooke of Baker Tilly on 01908 687800.
