Banned Swindon bosses sentenced for running companies

A Swindon boss has been jailed and two others disqualified for running businesses while banned

At Swindon Crown Court on 16 July 2021, Richard David Brown, 72, received a 20-month suspended prison sentence and a further 13-year disqualification while Alan Roche, 56, was given an 18-month community order and a further six-year disqualification.

Richard Edward Brown, 37, who is the son of Richard David Brown, was given a 12-month community order.

The court heard that Brown senior and Roche ran two companies, Door Stores Ltd, incorporated in July 2006, and Fire Secured Door Sets Ltd, incorporated in June 2009 and that Brown senior and Roche were listed as the company directors of both businesses.
