The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (Chartered IIA) has released a new report titled Supply Chain Resilience and Security: Harnessing the Potential of Internal Audit.

Extreme weather and geopolitical uncertainties are the main concerns predicted to bring further instability to the global supply chain. Stretched as it currently is, organisations should be prepping for continuation and possibly even more disruption in the supply chain.

The report states that businesses and their boards need to not only be highly efficient, but also robust enough to endure supply chain complications going forward.
