The number of training contracts offered by the Top 60 firms is still falling due to the downturn, finds Liz Fisher

The number of students under training contracts at the Top 60 firms has fallen for the second year in a row, as the recession takes its toll. According to this year’s survey, there are 11,642 students under a training contract in the Top 60, compared with 11,853 in January 2010, a fall of 2%.
