Cooper Parry acquires tech start up accountants

Mid tier firm Cooper Parry has expanded with the acquisition and merger of two accountancy practices specialising in technology and start-up clients

The acquisition of iHorizon and merger of Acclivity Advisors broaden the firm’s technology and high growth offering and kick starts the firm’s projected five-fold growth to £250m by 2025. The value of the individual deals was not disclosed.

Accounting firm ihorizon specialises exclusively in tech start-ups and had 49 staff, while Acclivity is a boutique advisory firm specialising in accountancy, tax and consultancy services for entrepreneurs and high growth early stage businesses, which has merged with Cooper Parry.

Asif Ahmed, who founded Acclivity in 2019, has become head of early stage, in the tech and high growth team at Cooper Parry.
