DTE Business Advisers is a partner led firm of chartered accountants and has over 70 staff and two offices in Bury and Manchester, focusing on SMEs, particularly owner managed businesses.

Directors Fiona O’Loughlin, George Lovell, Matt Beckley, Richard Bell, and Richard Taylor will continue to lead the Bury team.

The new partnership provides DTE’s clients with access to in-house specialist services such as R&D, capital allowances, commercial funding, estate planning and HR.

The value of the deal was not disclosed. Filings at Companies House show that DTE Business Advisers has reported assets of £2.1m for year end April 2022.

DJH Mitten Clarke has been on the acquisition trail since securing private equity backing from Tenzing in November 2022. The firm reported fee income of £20.5m for year end March 2022 and has 12 partners and over 220 staff based in eight offices across the Midlands and northwest.
