Ex chair of HMRC set to lead audit regulator

Former chair of HMRC, chartered accountant and leading financial services expert Jayne-Anne Gadhia to become chair of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) after approval hearing before MPs this week

The government has confirmed Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia as preferred candidate to take over as chair of audit regulator, the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) when Jan Du Plessis steps down in September. This follows an open recruitment process and comes with a six-figure salary and a four-year term.
