EY acquires Digital Detox agency

Big Four firm EY has acquired Digital Detox, a specialist software development consultancy

The move is part of EY’s growth plans for its UK and Ireland consulting business and will focus on healthcare, construction and media to support EY clients.

The value of the acquisition was not disclosed, but digital box reported annual revenue of £3.6m for the year end December 2021, according to its latest accounts.

The acquisition will extend EY’s digital engineering capabilities, complementing the existing technology transformation teams. The business will be branded as EY going forward and the Digital Detox will be dropped.

Founded in 2004, Digital Detox specialises in custom software development for digital applications, predominantly focused on the health wellness and sciences, real estate, hospitality, construction and technology, media and telecoms (TMT) sectors.
