Some colleagues are born survivors. My colleague Robbo has worked for years in the Commercial Intelligence team producing analysis which tells the Marketing Director what he wants to hear. The reports he produces never seem to tie into any finance report and yet are sufficiently impenetrable to make it hard to disprove them so no-one bothers. Essentially an affable non-threatening character Robbo was part of the furniture and yet I always assumed at some point he would be gently ushered towards the door.
